Initiative: Eau confirmed as signatory to the United Nations Global Compact

Initiative: Eau has been confirmed as a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. The UN Global Compact is a United Nations pact formed on 26 July 2000 to promote responsible business practices and UN values among the global business community and the UN System. The Compact aims to encourage businesses around the world to adopt sustainable and socially-responsible policies, and to report on their implementation.


Initiative: Eau receives grant from the Roddenberry Foundation for H2O-reinforce.fada

Initiative: Eau is pleased to announce it has received a $10 025 USD grant from the Roddenberry Foundation Catalyst Fund. These funds will support H2O-reinforce.fada, a project to improve drinking water infrastructure monitoring and maintenance capacity through the training and responsibilization of local groups in Fada N'Gourma, Burkina Faso.

Chief Executive Officer of Initiative: Eau Donald Brooks met with Permanent Representative of Burkina Faso to the United Nations His Excellency Mr. Yemdaogo Eric TIARÉ on 24 May 2019 at Burkina Faso’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. 


Initiative: Eau joins the End Water Poverty coalition

Initiative: Eau has been granted membership with the End Water Poverty (EWP) coalition. EWP is a global civil society coalition, campaigning to end the water and sanitation crisis. Established in 2007, the coalition has grown to over 150 members in more than 90 countries around the world, working in all regions across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America.


Initiative: Eau Announces Appointment of New Board Members

Initiative: Eau announced today that it has added three new members to its Board of Directors. Vlad Danciu, Humphreys Munai, and Swarandeep Singh have been elected to the governing body for two-year terms, effective 01 January 2019.

These funds will support H2Odata.city.fada, a project to improve water infrastructure monitoring and maintenance capacity through the training and responsibilization of local groups in Fada N'gourma, Burkina Faso.

Initiative: Eau has been granted Member Organization status with the Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN).  RWSN is a global network of rural water supply professionals and organizations committed to improving their knowledge, competence, and professionalism, to fulfill RWSN's vision of sustainable rural water services for all. 


Initiative: Eau receives community development grant from U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou for H2Odata.city.fada

Initiative: Eau is pleased to announce it has received a $10 000 USD grant from the Embassy of the United States of America to Burkina Faso. These funds will support H2Odata.city.fada, a water infrastructure sustainability project to improve local water infrastructure monitoring and maintenance capacity through the training and responsibilization of maintenance entities in Fada N'gourma, Burkina Faso.
