CAMBRIDGE, MA - On September 14, 2016, Initiative: Eau became a member of the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC).  The WSSCC is a United Nations membership organization that advocates for improved sanitation and hygiene for the most vulnerable and marginalized people around the world.  It is a community of NGOs, governments, and international organizations dedicated to advocating for change and to facilitating local solutions for the millions of people who lack access to proper sanitation and hygiene.

Membership in communities like the WSSCC is fundamental to how Initiative: Eau aims to address the global water and sanitation crisis.  As an organization, we believe that it is only through robust cooperation that we can make real change to end water and sanitation access disparities.  Moving forward, Initiative: Eau will continue to seek opportunities like membership in the WSSCC to maximize the impact we are able to have.

More information about the WSSCC can be found on their website at wsscc.org/who-we-are.  Individuals and organizations interested in partnering with Initiative: Eau should contact partnerships@initaitiveeau.org with proposal details.
