Donald has been passionately involved in water and sanitation access equality advocacy since secondary school. In 2013, he co-founded Initiative: Eau and currently leads the organization to address the global water and sanitation problem.
He holds a degree in molecular biology and global health from Harvard University. Previously, he was a research fellow in immunology and infectious diseases at the Harvard FAS Center for Systems Biology focused on elucidating how infectious diseases interact with the immune cells of the skin to inform vaccine development. As well, he has worked with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative on Kobo Toolbox, a digital data collection suite, for humanitarian crises and natural disasters.
